Below you will find a list of faq (frequently asked questions) about our campsite, glamping accommodation and more.
RoCo Coffee 'n' Cream is open during summer months (weekends only) and located on our campsite. They serve coffee, tea, ice cream & delicious cakes and treats.
The Pass Grocery & Deli (formerly known as Pegs Shop) is 100m away from our campsite and they stock daily fresh produce.
The next supermarket is SuperValu in Castletownbere which is 15km away.
Restaurants and pubs can be found in either Glengarriff or Castletownbere, both approximately a 20 minutes' drive from our campsite.
We offer toilet and shower facilities as well as a campers' kitchen for washing up. In the campers' kitchen you will find a fridge, freezer, kettle and microwave with a 2-ring electrical hob, which you can use.
We also offer laundry facilities (washing machine and dryer) against payment.
There is a separate elsan point and an R.V. service area for water and waste drop.
We have a total of 32 mains hook up points, several water points and offer free WiFi.
Yes, during high season (June, July and August) and public holidays we recommend to book well in advance to avoid disappointment. Off season it's not necessary to pre-book a pitch.
Yes, but all barbecues must be gas or charcoal and free standing on legs.
Disposable BBQ's must not be used on grass or park benches and can only be used if placed on stands that are available from reception against € 10,- security deposit. Stands that are provided with a disposable BBQ are NOT acceptable.
Any damage to grass or park benches will incur a penalty of € 50,- for repair.
Yes, we have a bus stop in front of the campsite and on the other side of the road it's located at the local shop, 100 metres away. Bus Éireann Route 236 (Cork - Dunmanway - Bantry - Glengarriff - Castletownbere v.v.) stops here. You can download the timetable here.
